Members of the Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Group met up with Grass Valley Moose Riders for a stop at the Dew Drop Inn for breakfast with the Boozefighters MC at their clubhouse, then off to the Grass Valley Moose Lodge for chili and cornbread, and a game of horseshoes out in back. The Grass Valley team kicked our butts. We WILL be back to even the score! The weather was great! C'mon out and join us for the next one!

Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Group had their first barbecue of 2009 held at FMRG-Vice President Pan Mike's house. Joined by members of the Grass Valley Moose Riders, we embroidered our charter shirts, had steak, chicken, dogs, yellowfin tuna and all the trimmings to go with it.. It was great for the Kids that came as well!
Members brought a trained bird that entertained all of the guests. Don't miss the next one. Watch for activities on the members calendar!

Members of the Folsom #2009 Moose Riders attended the Moose Legion 190 general meeting at the Placerville Moose Lodge in Camino. Folsom #2009 Moose Rider Group Charter Member "Wild Bill" along with LOOM Trustee (#2009) Al Brown were sworn in as the newest Legionaires. Our Lodge had the highest attendance of any lodge. (There were 9 of us) and Moose Lodge #2009 Members got to take home the banner For our Legion! Lunch of prime rib sanwiches was served. Great group pictures including our Former Governor Chuck Criddle and Administrator Carl Murphy. A great way to represent our Folsom Lodge.

A pajama breakfast at the Folsom Lodge with naughty boy and sin waffles. Many guests and prospective members were there and we had some of our brothers and sisters from Grass Vally Moose Riders join us too. Everybody had a great time. This is a collection of pictures from our Iowa Hill ride during the summer. It was one of our early rides as we got this Mooseriders group started and it has been a regular bunch of activites for the group since then. Rain or shine, we get together in cars or on bikes. There is so much to see in this region and so many places to go. There are many more events planned just like this. Who better than to give birth to Bullwinkle than a man with a dream! Yes, FMRG President Ralph Wyatt gave us the birth of "Bullwinkle" our Safety award. This award is given to one member that is nominated for violation of a safety issue to remind them to be more responsible and aware of the hazards of the road and fellow riders. Bullwinkle reminds us when you give him a handshake, "Be careful out there".

Auburn, CA is the home of the Gold Country Food & Toy Run. And what better way to serve our communities than to gather Moose Riders Groups from the area and participate in this worthy event. Auburn Moose Lodge opened up it's doors early as a meeting point for three Moose Riders Groups in District 4. Participating in the Run was Elkhorn, Folsom And Grass Valley Moose Riders Groups. Our Thanks to the Auburn Lodge for hosting the Moose Riders Groups so early that COLD morning.

Novemer 2008 marks the First Annual Holiday Basket for the Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Group. Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Members nominate recipients from our local community and a final vote is held during a general membership meeting in the beginning of November.

It's true we are Moose Riders, but that doesn't always mean we all own motorcycles. We can all appreciate motorcycles without owning one. Folsom #2009 Moose Rider, Lance, owns a truck and carries alot of precious cargo for us..... along with his bicycle we call "Chopper". Thanks for your support and efforts Wormdirt!

Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Group Members went to different lodges to introduce themselves. We shared events happening at our home lodge, learned alot about other events and Moose Members from different Lodges, and found some great places to go for lunch ~ it's all about the food and friends !!! Ok the ride too!

As brothers and sisters of the Loyal Order Of Moose/Women Of The Moose and Moose Riders, we are saddened by the lost of family members. Folsom #2009 Moose Riders Group Members rallied to the support of the Members of Grass Valley Moose Riders Group and Lodge, for their lost of Tim & Joy. We offered remembrance for their loss with the spiritual symbols of an owl, for they guide us through the night; a falcon, for they watch us from the heavens above; and a hawk, for they stay close to the ground and embrace life on this earth.
